Darian Durant had one heckuva story to tell his mother when he called her Saturday night.

"Laura and I are deeply saddened by the death of our dear friend Tony Snow," President Bush said in a written statement. "The Snow family has lost a beloved husband and father. And America has lost a devoted public servant and a man of character."

"Our government's policy is that our troops, paramilitary forces and our regular forces are deployed in sufficient numbers. They are capable of taking action there. And any foreign intrusion would be counterproductive," he said Saturday. "People will not accept it. Questions of sovereignty come in."

He is shown on video telling the undercover Sunday Times reporters that the “family” of an Asian politician should make the donation. He later added that if all the money was paid to him he would make the payment to the Bush library.
